HOW WE MET!!!!
Hmmmmm big grin :) I wish this were a video coverage cause
I love telling this tale. Well!!!! Need less to say that if you are close to me
you would have heard this story over and
over again *lol*.
So please sit back while I tell you my love story.
It was in December 2007,the bishop of Enugu then had
an xmas feast organized for all medical students in Enugu in his court.
I ,a newly “crossed-over” medical student listened intently as older colleagues
excitedly relayed their past experiences of the joyous feast .it was big! Fun!
It was Christmas!! In my mind I had lain out the cloths I would wear (a
jean, jacket and my favorite sandals then) it was a party after all!
On the fateful day,I was excited not knowing that I had
a bigger excitement of meeting my soul twinny that day!!1 My friends Nneoma and
Nila(God bless her soul) were already waiting impatiently in the room and in a
hurried moment the zip of my jean gave way.
I was sad as that was the outfit I wanted to
wear,Nneoma and Nila left so they could meet up with the bus while I was left
with the herculean task of finding another to wear.
When I got to ij “airport” on a not so good mood ,I was
happy to see that Nneoma and Nila did not make the bus and had waited for me
,Mischievously pleased I passed them with a long face and stood far away from
them,suddenly a silver jalopy pulled up,could this be a taxi? I asked
myself, the car had two grown men in front ,the man at the wheels beckoned on
us(Nila,Nneoma,I and Sandra who just joined the waiting crew) well they
couldn’t be kidnappers as they greeted everyone around and the dark guy on the
wheels was hailed arumaco by passerby's perhaps they are FECAMDSITES? These men?
Well we entered the jalopy! Nneoma,Sandra and I while Nila was about entering
the dark guy at the wheels in this oily deep voice said “I carry only
3”throughout the ride,he kept adjusting the front mirror to look at me and I
kept thinking “what is wrong with this dude”
We pulled up at a gas station to get petrol and a clean
tinted 406 nearly hit our car,the black guy said “he will be the sad one if he
hit us as my car is already full of dents” we all had a good laugh and I was
touched and impressed that he could mock himself nonchalantly so. Self
confidence?
We got to the party and gisted all through it was an exhausting feast of gist indeed i later gave my number and after 3 months of well deserved shakara from me and consistent "pestering" from him i said yes to dating him!from that day onwards I got a friend
,sincere, honest, open, fearless, loving ,protective and in all a soul mate who
keeps my world calm and spinning
THE PROPOSAL!!!!!
On vals day 2014 *blushing*lol I came over for valentine “I am on call” he
told me ,so I made dinner with the whole candle light scenario just in case he
manages to come back to eat dinner, and settled to watch my fav tv soap “Tinsel”
when a knock came and I ran out to the door to see swty with his hands full of
gifts, but there was something else I noticed he was sweating heavily around 7pm hmmm? I mentally atributed it to
stress and excitedly began to unwrap my gifts ,and as I lifted a gown from its
box, something fell out of it a tiny pink box, thinking it was a jewelry box I
bent to pick it as swty took my hand and got on his knees,as that moment I felt
the whole world had stopped ,as he poured his love sermons I felt my eyes
betray me as tears of joy rolled down…… as he got to the ‘Will you marry me
part’ I was already overwhelmed with emotions I said “YES” and here we are
today!!!!!
Awesome! Arumaco did his homework well. I'm happy for you.
